With 18 years in the beauty industry, my career has been a journey of creativity, faith, growth, and stepping boldly into new opportunities. I began in makeup, where I built a successful career and had the honor of working multiple seasons of New York City’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on shows including Thom Browne and Michael Kors, as well as working with several A-list celebrities. After a rewarding 10-year career with MAC Cosmetics, I began building my own brand, originally known as The Doll Factory. As a licensed cosmetologist, I also spent nearly a decade doing hair before expanding into permanent makeup and other beauty services. Over time, I realized my true passion was in the artistry of ink.

During the pandemic, while pregnant, I left the salon where I had been working. After a short time at Strut Salon, a former MAC coworker and I decided to take a leap of faith and open a space of our own. a year later, we opened our beautiful new shop while I was also adjusting to life with a new baby. Building a business while raising my first child was not always easy, but it became one of the best decisions I have ever made. I stepped away from hair to focus fully on tattooing and permanent makeup, helping create a top-tier environment that reflects the quality and aesthetic of our work.

Over the past few years, I have continued investing in my education through advanced training in laser tattoo and permanent makeup removal. This deepened my knowledge of ink, pigment, skin, and the removal process, giving me a more complete understanding of the work I do.More recently, I rebranded from The Doll Factory to It Girl Ink. As my artistry and focus evolved, I wanted my business to reflect that growth. It Girl Ink represents ink, beauty, individuality, confidence, education, and elevated artistry.

Today, I am proud of how far I have come while remaining humble and grateful. I love creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where clients feel beautiful, confident, and cared for. Many of my clients become friends, and this work never feels like work. Above all, I give God the glory for every door He has opened, every lesson He has taught me, and every blessing He has placed along my path. My faith has carried me through every season, and I am deeply grateful for the career and life He has allowed me to build.
